About Our Broker

Ocie obtained his Real Estate License in early 2014 while in his junior year at Texas State University working toward his finance degree. He started working in the real estate industry immediately after getting his license and was able to support himself through the last half of his degree. After graduating, He decided a cubicle at a financial institution wasn’t for him, and has been enjoying helping clients and friends to achieve their “real estate goals” ever since.

When doing infill development there’s a huge opportunity to save a substantial amount on upfront infrastructure costs. If you can come in on the backside of a development, someone has already gotten started. In this case with the Jonestown project, there is already water taps for three homes and electrical service for the same. So in this case half of the cost to the tune of roughly $15-$25,000 has already been paid. So, here were we adding six new homes and the infrastructure cost for three of them has already been covered. Here’s a little before and after of my kitchen remodel from a year ago that I never posted. Have done a little bit since then in that room. Installed a strong back from top plate to top plate and threw a 6x6 in the ridge of the roof supported by two 6x6’s that land on the two top plates to give additional structural integrity to the roof system. The strong backs also allowed for the 34” uninterrupted open run from what was the original front wall of the home where the fireplace is to the back exterior wall. #atx #renovation #interiordesign #realestate #austinbuilder
